St Ives’ Festoon
Event Power Engineering have recently been awarded the contract to install a brand new festoon lighting system running along 1000m of the streets in St Ives. The specification is to remove all parts of the previous installation, that is around 30 years old and has been declared as unsafe, and to replace with entirely new fixing points, catenary, electrical circuits, cabling and lamps. To make this a challenge, we have a limited window to hand back the commissioned system prior to the summer season working curfew.
